Thinner type and smoother but still rather thick, Old type. and English white paper.

I use 2 types of sumi (japanese inksticks). Blue black ink sticks type and southern red sumi stick.

When I fail to make the image in 1 time I throw it away. The power of the lines come through one time in a burst of energy.That,s it, Before I have gathered enough energy to make the painting it can take weeks.My paintings do resemble my image of my sculptures and bear the same stamp.
